If you’ve never attended a yoga teacher training retreat before, you might be wondering:
What do we actually do all day?
The honest answer?
A little bit of everything - and somehow, exactly what you need.
The retreat experience is designed to move you through growth gently and intentionally. Over five days, students often arrive carrying stress, nerves, self-doubt, and the mental exhaustion that comes from constantly being “on” in everyday life.
And slowly, things begin to soften.
Mornings begin with movement - sometimes grounding flow, sometimes aerial yoga, sometimes quiet breath and presence before the day unfolds. You wake up surrounded by nature instead of notifications. There’s space to hear yourself think again.
Throughout the day, we gather for nourishing meals, meaningful conversation, workshops, student teaching, alignment labs, and discussions about the real-life experience of becoming a yoga teacher.
You’ll practice using your voice.
You’ll learn to trust your body.
You’ll probably feel nervous before teaching.
And proud after doing it anyway.
There’s laughter during Glow Flow under blacklights. There are moments of release around the fire ceremony. There’s quiet reflection walking the labyrinth on the final morning.
And there’s also spaciousness.
Time to journal.
Time to connect.
Time to rest.
Because rest is part of mastery too.
By the end of the retreat, students often describe feeling lighter, clearer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.
One student said it best:
“I feel like myself - but stronger.”
And honestly, that’s the goal.
This isn’t just a vacation.
And it’s not about perfection.
It’s about integration.
It’s about stepping away from the noise long enough to hear your own voice again - both as a person and as a teacher.

Do I Have to Be Enrolled in the Yoga Teacher Training to Attend the Retreat?
No.
While the retreat is designed to support our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training students, we also welcome guests who simply want to experience the retreat for personal growth, nervous system support, connection, and immersive yoga practice.
You do not need to be actively pursuing certification to attend.
Retreat-only guests will still participate in:
Daily yoga classes
Workshops and group experiences
Meditation and mindfulness practices
Community meals and connection
Fire ceremony, labyrinth walk, and restorative experiences
For those enrolled in the YTT program, the retreat also includes practice teaching, sequencing labs, and certification-related integration opportunities.
Because retreat-only guests are not receiving the full certification curriculum or online coursework, retreat-only pricing is offered at a lower rate than the full YTT + Retreat experience.
If you decide you’d like to continue your journey later, you’ll have the option to apply your retreat experience toward the full Yoga Teacher Training program.
Both paths are welcome here.
Can I complete the training fully online instead?
Absolutely.
Our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is available fully online for students who prefer a flexible learning path or are unable to travel at this time.
Many students begin online and later choose to attend retreat for deeper immersion and hands-on experience.
What makes this retreat different from a traditional yoga vacation?
This retreat is designed for integration and education - not just relaxation.
Students spend five days immersed in:
Practice teaching
Leadership development
Alignment education
Nervous system support

Personal reflection
By the end of the retreat, students often leave with not only more knowledge, but greater confidence in themselves as teachers and leaders.
